Who says trick photographs are bad?

Posted by Shivanshi on June 24, 2009

People say trick photographs are bad. You know cutting and joining two photos together to make a new photographs. But have a look at these two photographs and tell me if it is really bad?

How else I was supposed to sit in Baba’s (Grand Papa’s) lap, when I wasn’t fortunate enough to meet him ever. All credit goes to Chote Papa.

How we made these photographs. Well there were few old photos of Baba with Ishu Bhaiya and Annu Didi. Papa and chote papa photographed me in the same pose. and then joined the two photographs. Quite tiring work. But worth it. Isn’t It. I will wait for your comments.

Thank you Chote Papa.

Posted by Shivanshi on June 9, 2009

My School started today (Jun 9th 2009). It was my first day. I am in New India School, Pune. Mini KG. My section is called Pluto.

My school uniform is Red Pants, Red T-Shirt and Blue canvas shoes. However, I need to wear them only on Tuesday and Friday. On other days I can wear anything I like.

I visited Bhuleshwar Mahadev temple and Someshwar Mahadev temple to get the blessings before starting my school.

Here are  a few photographs. I will upload more school photos later…

First day was fun. I enjoyed playing there with teachers and toys.

Hyderabad – Rameshwaram Trip

Posted by Shivanshi on October 2, 2008

Oh! This was a fun filled trip. A long one. Papa had a office work at Hyderabad. I and Mumma also went with him. We stayed at Sanjay uncles place. We visited Shri Saylam (Mallika-arjun) temple.

Then we went to Chennai. Chote Papa stays there. We visited Chennai and Mahabalipuram. I saw the Sea Lion show and a lot of crocodiles. Sea Lion was quite funny. I learned to act like it.

Our last visit in this trip was grand temple of Rameshwarm. It was a very long journey and every body was more tired than me. I learnt the story of Ram ji and Shiva ji and this temple.

Here are a few photographs from this trip. Really few ( A note to myself. I have to ask papa to upload more photos)

Mundan

Posted by Shivanshi on July 9, 2008

It is our family tradition to get the hair saved once. We call it mundan. They say it helps in better growth of the hair. We originally wanted to have this done in Trayambakeshwar Temple at Nashik. However, the prists refused to carry out the ceremony – They say it applies only to boys.

We then decided for Balaji temple near Pune. Well its one of the most magnificent replica of the original Balaji temple. The two are associated also. All hairs shaved in the temple premises are finally collected and sent to Tirupti. Its a wonderful place to visit.

All said and done; I certainly hated to part with my lovely hairs. But I didn’t cry.
